I recently had Jims Old Fashion Service repair my American Standard AC unit and they did such a good job. They went above and beyond to work with my warranty to make sure I could get reimbursed after the fact (most companies won’t do this) and even though it was a bit more difficult for them they were very professional the entire time. They were friendly, they were as fast as they could be given the wait for parts in the high demand time we’re in. I would use them again and recommend them to anybody. Great job!
Wow, I am so impressed with this company, I am speechless! Last summer our air stopped blowing cool air. We called a company out, who replaced several different parts over several visits. Nothing ever worked and after $500, he finally said we just need to purchase a new unit at $6,000+. Jim’s was recommended as a second opinion and they came out today to find that a piece replaced by the previous company was not the correct size for our unit. He suggested we call the original company and ask them to correct this. In the meantime he said he didn’t want us going without cool air over the weekend so he put in one of their parts for us to BORROW until the other place could correct their problem. He then charged us 80 bucks for the service call. I still can’t believe it!!!
I’ve been using Jim’s old-fashioned for several years now. They may not always be the least expensive, but they always do the best work, and always show up when they say they will. Every time I’ve worked with them they have tried to give me the best advice and lowest cost they can. I have referred many clients their way because they are honest, dependable, and trustworthy. Many of the other providers in the area look for the quickest way to make a buck, but these guys look for the best way to make sure you are happy.
Great service! The technicians arrived on time and found the problem with my air conditioner quickly. It was fixed within the hour. I highly recommend this company!
Long story short. AJ and the guys at Jim’s old fashion went above and beyond to ensure Lennox honored the warranty on my emc. It was not easy. I will never deal with Lennox again. I will most definitely be using Jim’s when purchasing my next unit based off this experience alone. They communicated daily with updates and did exactly what they said they would do. Hard to find this level of customer service.
Two technicians were disbursed and arrived on time the next day after my call. Within 5 minutes, the diagnosis was complete and the issue identified. I approved the implementation of a new part (they had on hand) because of the price. Problem solved; 5-year warranty (for that part). I have used Jim’s in the past years ago, with similar results. Great, knowledgable company.
Great service!!! They were exceptional at diagnosing the problem and resolving the issue. I had another company come out and they didn’t even go into my attic. They just said, “it could be this or it could be that.” Not helpful! Jim’s sent out a tech and he explored my ductwork thoroughly and made a few recommendations. I called them back to get an estimate and when they came back out, they found that some of my dampers were shut off. They fixed the problem, no charge. Such exceptional customer service. Highly recommend!

Jim’s old fashion are such pros. Not only do they do a great job servicing our system they made a repair today and saved the day. They understood the urgency with people recuperating from surgery and disabled in the home. They kept me informed, made it same day and fixed the issue. They are awesome and I highly recommend them!!
